We’re now in the last mile of the ISO 20022 migration — financial institutions must ensure that they have migrated their MT Category 1, 2, and 9 messages to the ISO 20022 standard by November 2025, at which time the coexistence phase between the MX and MT messages will end. It is critical that organizations begin configuring and testing their connectivity this year, so that any migration challenges are addressed and fixed with enough time to spare.
